The City of Oak Point is concluding a 7-month planning process to update the City's Comprehensive Plan with the help from planning consultants at Freese and Nichols. This plan will update the community's vision and will provide goals, objectives, and recommendations for Oak Point’s growth and development for the next several years. This plan will be a flexible and adaptive document that serves as a roadmap for Oak Point's future and functions as one of many decision-making guides for land use, policy, and budgeting.

While the comprehensive plan update encompasses many aspects of the community, the following topics will play key roles within the document:
